Finance, legal and audit

Our Finance, Legal and Audit departments are vital in our continued success.

Accounting: Become part of an essential function that’s responsible for the development of the organisation's financial plans and budgets, interpreting financial reports and tax returns, whilst maintaining strong corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.

Legal: Play a key role in ensuring that Allianz, as a company that operates worldwide, resolves any legal issues relating to corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust law, intellectual property law, contract law as well as insurance regulatory and distribution law. Watch our video below to find out more about legal careers with Allianz.

Internal Audit: Internal Audit exists to make things better. Form part of the team responsible for auditing departments and providing advice and support for special projects designed to foster national and international, interdisciplinary exchange within the company.

Management Reporting: Play a part in providing transparent and relevant information to the management, regulators and capital markets. You will also support the supply of expert information, carrying out analyses and making recommendations to the Board of Management.

Governance, risk & assurance

The Governance, Risk & Assurance teams are crucial to protecting our business.

As part of this team you could be involved in identifying and analysing potential sources of loss to understand risk exposures. Developing, recommending, implementing and monitoring cost-effective controls to optimise the organisation’s risk exposures.

Mitigating exposure to internal and external fraud. Ensuring that the business conducts business in compliance with ethical business practices, company and Group policies, and legal and regulatory requirements.

Supporting the business manage its exposure to insurance risk by passing some of that risk to reinsurers.

Marketing & communications

Our Marketing and Communications teams define how Allianz is viewed by the world!

Communications: Join an expert team dedicated to protecting and promoting the reputation of Allianz and championing employee engagement.  As a trusted adviser to the business your role could range from running print, online and broadcast PR campaigns, organising events for large audiences or managing change communication programmes.

Marketing: Get involved in a range of strategic and operational topics, such as market and customer intelligence, market strategy, brand management and communications, sales activation and multi-channel customer relationship management.

Operations, procurement & facilities

The Operations, Procurement and Facilities teams are at the heart of the business, helping keep Allianz running day and night.

Operations: Take on a key role in delivering for our customers, focusing on developing organisational management and improving processes across all areas within the business.

Procurement: Join the Procurement team and be responsible for the identification, sourcing, access and management of the external resources the business needs to fulfil its strategic objectives. As part of your role you will also explore supply market opportunities and develop strategies that deliver the best possible supply outcome to the business, its stakeholders and customers.

Facilities: Work as part of a group responsible for the planning, controlling and directing of real estate activities such as site location and acquisition, building projects, right-of-way negotiations, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management, and maintenance of properties.

Human resources

The HR team plays an essential role in making Allianz a great place to work!
Take on a role in supporting the development and implementation of corporate HR strategies, whilst providing professional HR guidance and support to business leaders and employees.

Working in HR means you could be involved in a wide range of topics such as recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, equal opportunity and diversity.

Administration & PA

Without our dedicated Administration and PA teams throughout Allianz, we simply wouldn’t exist.

Join the team providing essential support to various office locations along with direct support to the management team. Play a key role in maximizing the efficiencies of the business whilst ensuring the correct functioning of facilities, office and business support services.

Meet Georgiana

Joining Allianz 13 years ago meant a significant shift for me, as I was returning to work after a career break, in a new country. Meet Erika

I joined Internal Audit on a secondment from the operational side of the business, where I had spent the prior seven years in mostly customer facing roles. An auditor had spotted my curiosity and attention to detail and suggested I apply... that conversation changed my life.

With Allianz I have been given the opportunity to develop and grow; last year I was promoted to Senior Auditor and this year I completed my professional qualification. My favourite thing about Allianz is what we are treated as whole people and our team encompasses members with diverse career and life experiences. We are encouraged to share and collaborate, to improve the work that we do.
