"I started my Allianz journey as a consultant in the Allianz Consulting APAC hub, where I collaborated with colleagues from different entities and diverse cultural backgrounds on various APAC projects. After nearly 4 years of consulting work, I moved into the Allianz Commercial Global Process Management team, where I was involved in a range of global and regional projects focused on driving productivity and improving processes. Through these initiatives, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes."
"Concurrently, I realized my inclination towards cultivating deeper knowledge in underwriting and expressed my interest to my manager during our development plan discussions. With the support of both the Singapore Financial Lines team and the Global Process Management team, I completed a job shadowing with Financial Lines underwriters, enabling me to learn by doing real cases. After realizing I would like to further pursue my interest in underwriting, I joined the Financial Lines team a few months later when there was an open position. I’m very grateful for the constant support and guidance from my managers, who are very committed to investing in employees’ growth and development. I think one of the best things about working at Allianz is that we are exposed to various opportunities to work across functions, entities, and regions, and Allianz fosters a dynamic work culture to enable employees to develop personally and professionally.
