Job Purpose/Role 

Working as a Senior Business Training Consultant at AGCS requires to deliver Training needs analysis, consultancy and especially training solutions to ensure successful usage and understanding of reporting tools, data feeds and reports. It includes designing and delivering trainings, fostering relationships with the business functions, coaching and consulting to ensure business value and understanding.


As Senior Business Training Consultant you will be working in a global organization engaging with key functions to ensure effective adoption of new skills, enabling the employees to successfully deliver business results in an agile environment. A deep understanding of reporting, data and data management will be necessary to foster global unified understanding and knowledge. A key component is to translate technical details and data models into an easy-to-understand business language. 




In this role you will…


•    Consult business leaders and agile teams to assess training needs and develop suitable training offers for the audience
•    Execute training needs assessments, training concept, training consulting and delivery of change as part of global program offer and roll-out
•    Develop state of the art eLearning, training materials, use cases, facilitator guides
•    Deliver trainings to the business in a customer-oriented way and according to the AGCS methods and standards by building on a detailed practical knowledge of the system and / or processes in place 
•    Foster relationships with the business functions and ensure training standards are met
•    Provide expert advice, guidance and support for technical topics related to data management related applications  
•    Enable the business teams to apply a data-driven and customer-centric mindset in their daily work 
•    Act as a champion for training methods, Business Consulting, which includes but is not limited to Train-the-Trainer, Change Management and Data management
•    Engage in Change Management activities, such as stakeholder analysis and stakeholder management, planning of change communication and supporting business engagement  
•    Act as a sparing’s partner for management and team members
•    Drive Expert communities through regular exchanges, learning and best practices 
•    Continuously refine training offer through feedback and retrospectives
•    Identify potential risk and dependencies with regards to the change & training delivery, anticipate points of resistance on user side, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
•    Support Change management activities

To be successful in the role:


You will have….


•    At least 5 years of working experience in reporting or portfolio management or as Training and Change consultant
•    Experience with development and delivery of training solutions in multinational companies 
•    Deep knowledge of smart data and reporting or portfolio management
•    Functional understanding of analytics and their application in different business scenarios (e.g., Loss run) 
•    Be familiar with different databases and data management tools, use cases and limitations or challenges in this field 
•    Have an analytical mindset and a strong passion for data and technology
•    Considerable ability to work effectively with individuals, teams, and various units within the organization, including management 
•    A customer-centric mindset is key
•    Superior communication, presentation/facilitation skills and interpersonal skills required
•    Efficient time management skills, must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to change course quickly as needed
•    Ability to effectively manage various priorities and use good judgment regarding confidentiality
•    Ability to break complex subjects into manageable pieces, be able to translate and explain technical details in non-technical terms
•    Fluent in English and ideally German
•    Experience with some of the following tools: SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, SAP BO: Design Studio, Lumira, Web Intelligence, SAP BW, BPC for Analytics as one source of analytics, Success Factors Reporting, Foundry, Microsoft Power BI


Ideally you will also have…


•    Working experience in financial institutions or insurance 
•    Proven experience in global application training rollouts with diverse stakeholder groups 
•    Experience with dashboards development (preferable in SAC), and the design of best analytics solutions for business needs is a plus
•    Profound knowledge of Change Management strategy and tools
•    Knowledge and experience with digital learnings (writing storyboards/capture) and related tools (e.g., captivate)
•    First working experience with agile delivery teams
