Key responsibilities / You will get to:

• Facilitate the digital transformation and define the future strategic IT direction of our customers by being a trusted advisor for team members and clients in the areas of IT Decommissioning, Cloud Transformation, IT Resilience, IT Risk, IT Security, IT Governance, and getting IT Transformation done
• Lead individual project workstreams and take ownership of workstream results
• Complete assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting, problem resolution, conflict management, client management and all other relevant aspects of the project
• Analyze customer needs and develop relevant concepts to support existing / new clients
• Work with client teams, bearing responsibility for specific tasks, the quality of your deliverables and ensuring project milestones are reached
• Manage communications and project timelines
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
• Help increase Allianz Consulting expertise within our strategic areas of development
• Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team events
• Be enabled by our mission “Grow People for Allianz” through clear and structured development paths and multiple career options within our consulting company and within Allianz

Key requirements / What we hope you bring: 

• University degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering / Information Technologies / Business Administration or equivalent experience
• More than 3 years of relevant IT consultancy experience in one of the following areas: IT Decommissioning, IT Risk Management, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Transformation, IT Resilience, IT Transformation, or Digital Innovation
• Your experience in project management, change management, business transformation or initiative development and rollout
• A passion for technology, innovation and trends
• Self-starter with a delivery mindset to achieve business impact
• Your mastery of working and communicating with a broad range of audiences and seniority levels
• An affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking to help you organize and prioritize your tasks
• Your enthusiasm for working in a diverse and international team
• Your excellent command of English that you will use while preparing and delivering presentations and reports
• Your excellent command of German (C1 Level or higher) that you will use when working with our German clients
• Core technology skills in areas such as Cloud (AWS, Azure), IT Decommissioning (Application Management), IT Operating Model Design, IT Risk and Governance
• Your previously acquired skills in PowerPoint and Excel (can perform complex functions)
• Your curiosity for or knowledge of insurance and financial services and consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques
