Job Purpose/Role 


Our new global function Global Process Management at AGCS is responsible for end-to-end process improvement to drive effectiveness, efficiency and increase customer service delivery through one globally coordinated approach.


Reporting to the Head of Global Process Improvements and based in Munich, you will be part of a truly global Smart Process Automation team that strives to transform the business performance through process improvements across the value chain of the organization. In this role you will be responsible for the execution of automation-related initiatives against agreed business case. You will build a high performing project team supporting AGCS in process improvements and work on defining, leading and managing high profile, critical and challenging strategic automation engagements across AGCS.



In this role you will…


•    Identify processes as can be automated to drive higher efficiency
•    Develop – in collaboration with AGCS Business functions, Global Process Management SMEs, third parties, and IT – ways to further improve the value from automation within AGCS (including its offshore setups)
•    Ensure delivery of automated processes according to the service levels defined with the business and ensure swift issue resolution and build proactive communication with internal customers
•    Provide customers and colleagues with relevant, timely and correct reporting outlining performance of automated processes and provide solutions in case of insufficient delivery performance
•    Actively and constantly improve already automated processes or contribute to the improvement of on/offshore processes through the use of automation
•    Identify proactively new technologies / tools / processes which could lead to medium or long term performance improvement at AGCS
•    Support process related changes as a consequence of automation and ensure close collaboration with all affected functions within AGCS (i.e. Onshore units, IT, workers council)
•    Support change management activities of other functions as far as they relate to automation activities (active communication, supply of information material, presentations etc.)
•    Ensure, proactive, timely, complete and correct communication to all stakeholders affected by Automation projects
•    Communicate openly and actively with all third parties in order to maximize the automation benefits for AGCS as well as to identify and resolve any issues potentially affecting the successful development or deployment of Robots within AGCS


To be successful in the role:


You will have….

•    You have a degree (preferably within an IT and Business Administration context)
•    Six Sigma and / or Opex certification will be an advantage
•    At least three years’ experience within the corporate insurance sector with multi-cultural and international work experience allowing for cross-departmental and cross-regional thinking and acting
•    At least three years’ experience with project management, ranging from individual tasks to managing large complex projects
•    You have a passion for data and in-depth knowledge and experience in process and team management
•    Deep understanding of Continuous Process Optimization and Quality Improvement Frameworks
•    Very good IT knowledge, IT infrastructure, IT project management and Rapid Automation
•    Advanced consulting skills enabling you to practice good relationship management, understand costumer needs and consult the business in the most efficient way
•    Fluent in English (able to negotiate)

•    Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to explain complex topics on a basic level
