Role summary

We are seeking to recruit a project manager who will be actively driving changes with primary focus on Technology and Operations area.  S/he will be reporting to the AP Head of Investment and Operations Change, Asia Pacific, and work closely with other functions.

Role & responsibilities

• Take a leading role in driving and managing change initiatives, both within AP & across the regions.
• Project setup and governance, stakeholder management, project management, including supporting management decision making and conducting business analysis.
• Support global harmonisation, including continuous development, refinement and implementation of our strategic Target Operating Model (TOM).
• Regulatory & Risk: Driving and ensure operational regulatory compliance and risk mitigation from Operations and technical perspective.
• Identify opportunities for digitization and automation for efficiency enhancement and driving implementation.
• Understand feature and local requirements for establishing access to new market like China (including establish operational processes, evaluate outsourced service provider, identify system requirements and coordinate testing, etc.)

Experience / Qualifications and Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in asset management.
• Proven track record in Operations, project management and business analysis, including stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end asset management value chain and key regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, good communication, project and people management skills.
• Ability to constructively challenge the status quo.
• Ability to work independently and calmly under pressure.
• Enthusiastic and inspiring personality that works well in teams and with other functions.
• Digital literacy required.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (simplified and traditional).
• University degree holders in business.
• Experience/knowledge in Taiwan, fund accounting, transfer agency and ESG preferred
