This position is responsible for day-to-day technical management of an assigned function, project, or program, which includes performing the work as a subject matter expert and ensuring the operational success through daily work direction and support of local and or global teams.

 

What you do

Specific Functional Areas of Responsibility:

 

ATA Hardware, Software and Toxicity Asset Management:

  • The expectation is that this position would also perform the work of a subject matter expert, Software Asset Manager, which is needed to cover support of strategic vendors/products such as Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce.
  • Cross functional work with the ATA Sourcing and Procurement Team.
  • This position would be engaged in yearly planning dialogue and financial planning activities, software/service demand requirements from different stakeholders.
  • Oversee the reporting of budget/reporting/savings goals, issues and escalations, etc.
  • This position will also be required to be the Capability Lead over Toxic Asset Management, ensuring the monthly process is executed according to plan, all issues are addressed, reports are distributed on time and the engagement with all stakeholders is completed.

ATA Configuration Management and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB):

  • This position would be engaged in daily business as usual (BAU) work activities as it relates to configuration management and the CMDB.

 

For both functional areas:

  • This person will be required to provide functional work direction for both teams.
  • This position would be engaged in BAU work activities on the team, engaging in work product issues and escalations, process breakdowns, communication issues between teams, data discrepancy problems between multiple manual processes, tools and systems.
  • The expectation is that this position provides oversight around ITSM and OPS general controls and the submission of control evidence and monitoring for non-compliance.
  • This position will be responsible to transition work product from project to run readiness, ensuring operational plans are in place with local teams and as required, Global Teams.
  • Position assists in meeting demand requests, maturity improvement efforts and strategic road mapping initiatives coming from the Global Teams, Organizational Entities (OE), and championing significant process improvements that are needed due to process and communication breakdowns that are negatively impacting ATA and the OEs.
  • Providing day-to-day work direction, including allocating work; coordinating team capacity; and serving as an escalation point to ensure success in the assigned area.
  • Providing subject matter expertise, including assessment of new processes for alignment with technical area; preparing and presenting recommendations for process improvements; and performing complex analyses or project management related to assigned area.
  • Managing vendors and service partners, which includes reviewing vendor technical work product; managing vendors and service partners to service level agreements; and approving vendor billings.
  • Providing feedback to direct manager on performance, teamwork, and related items; collaborating with manager to identify and correct team performance gaps. 

 

What you bring

 

· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

· 4+ years of related experience

· 3 or more years of people mentoring and vendor management experience

· 3+ years of project and delivery management experience
