What you do:

Reporting to the VP, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, the Principal, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is responsible for researching, developing, recommending, and executing innovative DEI solutions to advance the organization's diversity goals and initiatives.  The role is regarded as a trusted and key influencer and collaborates across the organization.  This role is responsible for managing and driving organization-wide strategies that are currently in flight in order to build diversity, equity and create an inclusive environment that supports the Company's employee base. This position partners with recruiting, HR and managers to engage people of all backgrounds on DEI programs. The position will leverage data as well as anecdotal evidence to define and evaluate the success of program elements.  This role requires the ability to influence leaders and team members across the organization, requiring strong collaboration and ability to influence without authority and work with significant autonomy and ambiguity.



  • Build and drive DEI program objectives through program management and defined project plans
  • Manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process roll-out and ongoing support
  • Collaborate closely with HR, talent management, recruitment, and business partners, to define priorities, goals, and measures of success
  • Support education activities directed to the business on DEI topics, and advocate for marginalized communities in the industry
  • Consult on DEI topics such as systemic oppression, racial injustice, intersectionality, allyship, unconscious bias, privilege, etc
  • Develop effective engagement with leaders through facilitation, and presentations on DEI topics
  • Inspire leaders at all levels to drive prioritization of and commitment to DEI goals
  • Drive culture change around inclusion and equity to attract and retain diverse talent 
  • Provide leadership coaching, when appropriate, to managers and Directors/VPs via one-to-one and group interactions
  • Deploys exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment

What you bring:

  • DEI experience in large organizations, financial services and insurance preferred
  • Superior project management skills
  • Strong use and knowledge of MS office, PPT, etc.
  • Experience facilitating topics and learning programs to large audiences
