Advertising Review Compliance Analyst/Senior Analyst/Specialist | Hybrid

What you do:

The Advertising Review function delivers and maintains an advertising compliance framework that enables the business and functions to comply with applicable internal and external rules and regulations. The Compliance Analyst/Senior Analyst/Specialist performs advertising reviews of sales literature, marketing materials and certain communications for use internally or externally that discusses Allianz products and services for compliance with SEC, FINRA and/or State Insurance regulatory requirements and related company policies. Demonstrates expertise in at least one product line and operates independently in an assigned area. Provides explanation and guidance to business partners regarding review conclusion on materials. This role will work closely with Marketing, Product, Legal and other key business partners. May be tasked with special assignments/projects that are outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities and may take work direction from more senior positions. This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and ability to manage and prioritize through peak volumes.

 

  • Provide subject matter expertise in review of sales literature, marketing materials and communications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
  • Independence/ownership of review queue.
  • Files materials with FINRA, as applicable.
  • Partners closely with Advertising Review team to align on risk tolerance and consistency in reviews
  • Provide guidance to Marketing and other business partners with respect to the preparation and distribution of marketing and advertising materials.
  • Identifies, researches and resolves issues and feedback from business partners independently.
  • Lead or assist in the maintenance and development of advertising review policies, procedures and other process controls.
  • Lead or assist in researching and responding to comments and/or inquiries received from state insurance departments, FINRA, the SEC and internal oversight functions.

 

What you bring:

  • Attention to detail & critical thinking skills; experience making risk-based decisions
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Series 7 & 24 required or the ability to obtain within 180 days of employment
  • 2-3 years’ experience preferred: Advertising compliance, Investment company and adviser regulatory requirements (SEC Marketing Rule, Investment Company Act of 1940); In-depth knowledge of relevant rules and regulations

Base Salary Range $47,000 - $134,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
