JOB PURPOSE/ROLE:


The successful candidate will join the Business Intelligence team in the data analyst role with the following responsibilities:
- Transforming data into insights to support top management for business decisions
- Setting and monitoring business KPIs to improve business performance
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop reports and dashboards with Business Intelligence tools
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets to drive the company in a profitable and competitive growth in the market
- Manage data integration and reporting projects in collaboration with international team

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 
- Proven experience (e.g. 3-5 years) as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- University degree in scientific-technological studies
- Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL language and MS SQL Server)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SAS)
- Knowledge and experience of ETL data processes
- Knowledge of analytics and Big Data Architectures (Kafka, Databricks). Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure ecosystem is a plus
- Knowledge of agile development methodology and related software tools (jira, confluence)
- Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages, Power BI will be preferred
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Work Experience in the insurance industry will be preferred
