Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Security Monitoring: Help monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Support Vulnerability Management: Participate in vulnerability assessments and scans, assist with the analysis of results, and help in the remediation process.
- Contribute to Security Awareness: Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training materials and communications to employees.
- Documentation and Reporting: Help maintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist in preparing reports on security incidents and metrics.
- Incident Response Support: Provide support during security incidents, including documentation, communication, and follow-up on incident resolution.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. Assist in researching and evaluating new security tools and technologies.
- Access Control: Assist in managing user access controls, including the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts as per company policies.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (English)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
