Job Purpose/Role:


Executive Assistant (m/f/d) to Allianz Direct Chief Operating Officer (COO) supports the Allianz Direct COO and Head of the Allianz Direct CEO office in delivering on Allianz Direct strategy and execution of key priorities in Operations and IT.


About Allianz Direct COO area: 

Allianz Direct COO is a Board Member of Allianz Direct globally and has a mandate to build excellent IT capabilities enabling leading industry operations in terms of customer satisfaction and economics.
The COO is accountable for insurance operations globally (including Customer Service, Claims, Performance, Running the company and ESG), as well as for information technology and architecture of the Allianz Direct. 


Key responsibilities:


Executive Assistant to COO: 

  • contributes to the development of concepts and ops/tech strategies, acts as a sparring partner, and provides implementation support
  • takes over responsibility for specific initiatives 
  • prepares and follows-up on senior management meetings including content preparation, presentations, agenda setting, briefings, etc.
  • acts as an interface between senior management and key stakeholders on Group and OE level
  • manages administrative tasks together with the CEO Office and COO personal assistant



  • experience in ops/tech area with strategic as well as operative tasks; confidence in daily interaction with senior management; strategy/management consulting experience is a plus
  • high analytical and conceptual aptitude
  • strong interpersonal and influencing skill, pro-active and independent working style
  • organizational and prioritization skill with attention to detail
  • knowledge of an Ops/IT domain at Allianz is a plus (e.g., architecture, infrastructure, governance, security, data, and tech innovation)


Qualifications/Key skills:

  • years of experience: 1-3 with expertise: Insurance operations, Information Technology 
  • education: degree in business administration, computer science, economics, or engineering
