Protection and Resilience Specialist 

The Protection and Resilience Specialist will be part of the P&R team, supporting Allianz Entities with implementation of P&R standards and guidelines, assist in monitoring and reporting P&R performance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in information security and business continuity. This role also involves liaising with Allianz Technology and global P&R functions to drive continuous improvement within Allianz entities.

Responsibilities 

• Support the implementation of the Protection & Resilience (P&R) standard, functional rules, and related guidelines at the Operating Entity (OE) level. 

• Conduct Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities as part of the BCM lifecycle (mandatory). 

• Ensure site security management aligns with Allianz standards. 

• Collaborate with business owners to ensure compliance with outsourcing requirements, as part of business continuity measures. 

• Maintain up-to-date P&R documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

• Actively participate in the Governance & Control Committee and the Risk Committee. 

• Keep Senior Management informed of developments and necessary actions to meet P&R requirements. 

• Align and monitor P&R framework developments, including new requirements and controls, in coordination with regional and OE expert functions. 

• Oversee self-assessments and reviews within the OE, ensuring results are effectively communicated to Senior Management. 

• Coordinate and track action plans, ensuring the effective implementation of P&R monitoring and reporting systems. 

• Promote best practice sharing, standardization, and collaboration across Allianz Asia Pacific. 

• Serve as a liaison to the Global P&R function, facilitating clear and effective communication on P&R matters across the region. 

Experience 

• At least 2 years of experience in cyber security within the Protection & Resilience domains in the Financial/Insurance industry. 

• Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in the Financial/Insurance sector related to business continuity. 

• Experience in assessing and mitigating risks related to business continuity. 

• Experience in monitoring and reporting on P&R performance, assisting in the implementation of action plans based on risk assessments. 

• Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn and assist in identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with teams such as IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders. 

• Good communication skills for liaising with different functions within the organization.
