Job Summary

Assist on the implementation of Sustainability Risk Integration of Allianz Malaysia with key role in carrying out ESG risk assessment of the business the organisation is going to undertake. Learning outcomes include practical experience on how Allianz implement its Sustainability Strategy to create ESG impacts & support transformation towards low carbon economy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Research and assess the sustainability performance of the businesses that the organisation is going to undertake, aligned with Allianz’s Sustainability Strategy. This includes :  

  • Assess business cases in accordance to Allianz‘s ESG business guideline(s) .
  • Review Annual Report, Sustainability Statement, Environmental Impact report of business case(s) that the company is going to undertake.  
  • Carry out search for any negative news related to the business cases.
  • Provide advice and insights to business units on potential ESG risks, if it is advisable to proceed.
  • Ensure clear records of assessments are maintained, providing reference points for decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with the ESG guidelines and Sustainability Strategy set forth by the Group.
  • Other tasks assigned by superior.

 

Key Requirements

  • Analytical and have strong research skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments (underwriting team, regional sustainability team and global sustainability team).
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently, ensuring timely completion of ESG assessments.
