We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented (agile) Project Manager (f/m/d) for our Inhouse Consulting team to help deliver projects around regulatory changes.
The ideal candidate will have a good mix of (agile) project management skills, analytical skills, experience within the Investment Management business and relevant regulations as well as an understanding of solutions for internal clients within the Operations Business.
As part of a highly skilled specialist team, you will be responsible for the oversight and implementation of regulatory changes at European level.
This position is based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
- Lead projects with focus on our operational investment infrastructure to implement changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements in EU and UK
- Facilitate the assessment of regulatory requirements and their impact on Operations, Investment and IT
- Moderate workshops across affected teams and different management levels
- Plan and execute projects independently, i.e. take ownership of project results and overall project success and act as an internal management consultant
- Actively support and contribute to different topics and projects in parallel and prioritize accordingly
What you bring
- Excellent university degree, preferably in a Business, Finance or Computer Science field
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with (agile) project management processes
- Ideally, SCRUM or other (agile) project management certification
- Relevant (ideally 2 - 3 years +) experience in handling regulatory reform initiatives within the Asset Management Industry
- Knowledge of EMIR and derivatives clearing is preferred, exposure to other regulations such as ESG/SFDR, AIFMD/UCITS or PRIIPs is a plus
- Very good teammate with distinctive communication and presentation skills, high interpersonal competence, high motivation and positive work attitude
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functions such as Portfolio Management, IT, Distribution and external service providers
- Highly organized, attention to detail, excellent follow through skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal is mandatory, additional European language is a plus
- Proficiency in a programming language, such as Python, is a plus
