Tribe Sales Management is the single (data) point of truth for the sales management of Allianz companies in the German market. Our mission is to support the changing requirements for sales management with modern, harmonized, user-friendly and flexible digital solutions so that individual sales targets can be achieved sustainably and efficiently. To this end, we are looking for a BI expert (m/f/d) to independently manage and develop (Run, Change) data marts for sales (FIV BI).

As a BI expert, you will be part of an agile product team in the sales management tribe. This is based at Allianz Kunde und Markt GmbH. The sales management chapter, i.e. your “functional home”, belongs to Allianz Technology.

What you do

• Development and implementation of database applications in the Oracle or Snowflake environment
• Maintenance of existing database applications in the Oracle environment
• Understanding of business requirements and technical implementation of these requirements
• Further development and maintenance of the datamarts including testing and deployment of the developed components
• Monitoring of ETL process and job control system
• Tuning of systems in terms of performance and stability
• Operation and maintenance of the data warehouse layer of the systems
• Supporting business analysts and performing error analyses
• Collaboration in the migration to the new target architecture/infrastructure of Tribes sales management
• Contact person for business and technical interfaces

What you bring

• independent, structured and result-oriented way of working
• strong team skills
• degree in computer science or comparable training
• very good programming skills in SQL, Oracle-PL/SQL, Shellscript (e.g. Bash)
• at least 5 years of experience in data processing (transformations, data quality, performance in mass data processing)
• knowledge of at least one ETL tool
• Experience with scheduling, process control and job control
• Knowledge of data modeling and applied techniques
• Language skills: English at level B2 (European Framework of Reference)
• Smart use of communication channels and forms
• Willingness to take on services outside of normal working hours (4-5 times a year)
