As a Pricing Actuary at Allianz, you will lead initiatives in tariff development and portfolio management. Your expertise will drive profitability analysis, claims cost evaluation, and the implementation of cutting-edge business intelligence tools. What Will You Do?

 

  • Lead Tariff Development: Drive the creation and management of tariffs using advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to optimize our offerings.
  • Profitability and Claims Analysis: Conduct thorough profitability assessments and evaluate claims cost development, including inflation analysis, to ensure rate adequacy.
  • Strategic Product and Pricing Support: Address product and pricing challenges within planning and strategic discussions, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Customer Behavior Modeling: Analyze market and competitor data to model customer behavior and inform strategic decisions.
  • Enhance Business Intelligence Tools: Develop and improve dashboards and tools to support risk analysis and portfolio management.
  • Research and Development: Explore new technical solutions to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
  • Effective Communication: Design and communicate results clearly to stakeholders, ensuring insights are actionable and well-understood.

Master’s degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, actuarial science, econometrics)? Check! A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in an analytical pricing function with non-life insurance products? Check! Proficient in SQL and Python; experience with Willis Tower Watson tools Emblem & Radar? Check! Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus? Check!
