ITSCM Support:

  • To help ensure that all IT local staff and IT vender employees with responsibilities for working on service continuity impacting incidents and disasters are aware of their duties and that relevant information is readily available when required
  • Manage Group-led risk assessment of critical IT
  • Manage and complete ITSCM audit actions

Design Services for Continuity:

  • To work in conjunction with Regional IT, Architecture, Design, IT Technology and Support teams to design appropriate and cost-justifiable continuity mechanisms and procedures to meeting agreed business continuity targets, inclusive of Data Centre set-up
  • Assure relevant Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), ITSCM mappings, risk assessments, and prioritisation of critical IT services are defined, reviewed and agreed with relevant Business areas
  • Maintain relevant DR documentation, risk profiles/assessments, critical IT services/list mappings, DR changes, etc.

ITSCM Training and Testing:

  • Working closely with BCM manager to ensure that all preventive measures and recovery mechanisms for the case of IT service continuity / disaster events are subject to regular testing
  • Ensuring test plans, test schedules, test documentation and reports are maintained and kept up to date at all times
  • Manage questions/queries related to ITSCM
  • Share and discuss ITSCM best-practices
  • Present ITSCM topics at relevant governance/management meetings

Common Activities:

  • Establish, monitor and report on relevant aspects of the ITSCM budget.
  • Manage expenditure to remain within budget, seeking prior authorisation for any additional unbudgeted expenditure.
  • Partner with colleagues across the IT Function (Change, IT, Facilities and Data) to ensure the availability of all IT services at all time.
  • Regularly engage with Group / Regional P&R and ITSCM functions
  • Manage risks relevant to the ITSCM function and requirements laid out in the Protection & Resilience Functional Rule & Standard

ITSCM Review:

  • To review if disaster prevention measures related IT are still in line with risk perceptions from the business side, and to verify if continuity measures and procedures are regularly maintained and tested

Must have

  • Degrees in IT, MIS, Business Administration
  • ITIL Service Management or equivalent qualifications are desirable
  • BCS or CII qualifications are desirable
  • 5 years+ of experience in IT BCP, DR, IT service continuity management area.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in insurance industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders in local and aboard.
  • Designing and implementing IT Service Continuity methods, disciplines, tools, reporting and disaster recovery process.
