This position will direct activities of the regional branch which lead to the retention and development of a portfolio of high-quality direct sales business and ensure that the policyholder obtains the maximum benefit and satisfaction from the product.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties
•    Hire, train, lead and motivate a decentralized agent network.
•    Devise and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, which may include identifying target markets, creating promotional campaigns, and executing pricing and retention strategies.
•    Manage the sales team including budget planning and monitoring of Sales Agent goals as agreed on in the regional business plan.
•    Achieve regional processing, headcount and expense management goals as approved in the regional plan.
•    Prepare sales reports, forecasts and budget information for management review, providing insights into sales performance and future opportunities and challenges.
•    In collaboration with the Head of DSF and Head of Sales Operations, maintain, develop and execute common operational standards and procedures across the sales force.
•    Collaborate with marketing, product development and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive approach to customer engagement.
•    Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.  Address customer complaints, resolve disputes, and handle escalated issues to ensure a positive customer experience and maintain the company’s reputation.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills
    •    Bachelor’s Degree in business management, finance or related discipline. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
•    5 years of sales and sales management experience preferably within credit insurance, asset-based lending, banking or insurance
•    In-depth understanding of sales functions and process
•    Exceptional sales leadership, motivational and key account skills
•    Strong understanding and knowledge of corporate financial statements and the ability to determine the credit worthiness of a business
•    Experience with making decisions within broad guidelines when dealing directly with clients and assisting and advising Sales Agents 
•    Experience with implementing new ideas and or techniques learned through experience and interaction with peers
•    High level of presentation skills combined with the need for tact and diplomacy particularly when reacting in a face to face situation 
•    Experience with following management policies and directives in a positive and efficient manner
