About the Job 

As an iOS Software Developer specializing in app development, you will be a key member of the Tribe "Digitale Kunden und Vertriebe" within the Customer & Sales IT chapter at Allianz Technology.

You will focus on developing innovative solutions for the "Health App" team, driving digital transformation in customer and sales processes. Your expertise in iOS development will be crucial in creating seamless and user-friendly applications that enhance customer engagement and streamline sales operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of Allianz Life's customers in Germany.

What you do

• Utilize your knowledge in programming languages such as Swift, Obj-C, Groovy, and Shell to contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications.
• Implement Clean Architecture, MVVM, REST-API, Test-Driven Development, and Behaviour Driven Development Testing in projects.
• Work with frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI, Security, AVFoundation, OpenCV, OAuth2, SQlite, XCTest, Quick + Nimble, and Lottie.
• Use tools like Xcode, Git, Jenkins, Fastlane, SonarQube, and Apple TestFlight effectively.
• Apply Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Confluence, Jira, Github Pull-Requests/Reviews, and Figma for design.
• Implement encryption techniques and ensure data protection compliance.
• Manage App Store submissions and collaborate with external partners for successful deployment.

What you bring

• Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and proficiency in various Agile tools and methods.
• Experience with app architecture up to at least iOS 15, with familiarity with iOS 18 as well as proven experience with App Store submissions and external collaborations
• Expertise in encryption techniques and data protection.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into streamlined processes, particularly in insurance applications.
• Experience in health insurance applications is preferred.
• Fluent in English with a willingness and ability to travel to Germany as required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Agile practices, transformation, change management, or consultancy, with a strong focus on iOS development.
