We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Buyer with a minimum of 8 years' experience in IT Infrastructure sourcing. The successful candidate will join the "IT Infrastructure Strategic Procurement Team" at Allianz Group and will be responsible for managing the sourcing activities within the Global Category "IT Infrastructure".

You will 

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT Infrastructure services, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group's overall procurement objectives and goals.
2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their capabilities, price competitiveness, and overall performance.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices.
4. Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, while ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
5. Manage supplier relationships, including regular performance evaluations, contract renewals, and issue resolution.
6. Monitor market trends and technological advancements in IT Infrastructure to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procurement policies and procedures.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT departments and other business units, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
9. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement team members, sharing expertise and best practices.

Your skills 

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years' experience in procurement, specifically within IT Infrastructure sourcing.
3. Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure services and related technologies.
4. Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, preferably experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
9. Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are a plus.
10. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT procurement.
11. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and German language skills are an add-on.
