The Information Security Specialist is a key role within the Security Assurance & Architecture  team within the Corporate Information Security division in Barcelona. He/She will oversee the effective implementation of Information Security requirements assuring the compliance with Allianz Group standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices within all services provided by Allianz Technology to its Allianz-internal customers, including those provided by 3rd-party suppliers and outsourcing providers.

You will:

• Oversee the compliance with Allianz Group security standards, regulatory security requirements, and security industry best practices. Develop and update information security policies, guidelines, and procedures.  

• Oversee the implementation of Allianz Group security standards and Allianz Technology security requirements in Allianz Technology services and projects. 

• Ensure the effective implementation of information security principles and procedures during the full life cycle of services offered by Allianz Technology, including those provided by external parties (e.g., Cloud providers) and outsourcing partners. 

• Systematically assess the effectiveness of information security controls in all services provided by Allianz Technology and its partners and third-party providers. Identify the opportunities to automate these assessments and steer the implementation of automated control assessments.  

• Identify protection goals, objectives, and metrics. Steer the implementation of these security metrics. 

• Acting as a qualified security assessor within the information risk management process, including information security risk assessments, identification of deviations from information security policies, standards, practices and contractual security provisions, as well as developing effective strategies to mitigate identified information security risks. 

• Provide information security consulting and liaison with all relevant stakeholders. 

• Promote knowledge and awareness of Allianz Technology information security requirements and processes. 

• Identify improvements in the process areas, and propose best practices complying the Allianz Group requirements.

Your skills: 

• University degree (primarily in computer science or natural sciences), or equivalent professional experience. 

• Long track record of experience in IT, 5 years+ experience in Information Security related fields. 

• Good working knowledge in another European language, preferably German would-be a plus.  

• Professional experience with Cloud technologies, establishing/improving security processes, establishing/improving security controls.   

• Sound knowledge of IT security technologies, architecture and processes and profound knowledge of information security management systems and relevant industry standards (in particular ISO270xx, COBIT5/2019);  

• Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures. 

• Proven track record and experience with supplier management (including public cloud and SaaS providers), IT outsourcing and relevant control frameworks, and in defining and monitoring contractual information security provisions. 

• Project management and/or leadership experience in complex enterprise environments, preferably in agile teams. 

• Experienced with agile methodology and developed an agile mindset. 

• Ability to cope with high workload, and being able to exercise good levels of independence, judgement, and initiative. 

• Proficient in English, excellent international communication skills including the ability to prepare professional documentation for various audiences and senior management.
