Working Student (m/f/d) – Replicating Portfolio in the Internal Model in Group Risk
Within Allianz SE, Group Risk is charged with the task of managing risk to bolster Allianz's financial strength and to support value-focused company leadership. As such Group Risk is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Group's overall risk profile, and thus ensuring that individual Allianz companies adhere to the Group's risk governance principles. Operating excellence of this framework plays a key role to comply with future Solvency II standards.~crlf~~crlf~Group Risk is responsible for pre-emptive monitoring and reporting of the risk profile for defined Allianz entities across the segments Insurance, Banking and Asset Management. As working student for the internal model team you will support the colleagues on the risk capital calculation and reporting.
Your tasks will comprise research and analysis of the asset and liability representation for market risk management and capital steering. Main tasks consist of programming and maintenance of analysis and reporting tools, business testing of risk related software and preparation of business configurations for risk calculations. You will support our team in preparation and analysis of market risk figures as well as further development of the market risk model.~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
Qualification:~crlf~##Minimum 2 years of studies, not yet completed ~crlf~##Mathematical background or related fields (e.g. mathematics, physics, economics, or actuarial)~crlf~##Interest and knowledge in risk management, financial markets and valuation models for financial instruments~crlf~##Good knowledge of standard IT software (Excel, Word, Access)~crlf~##Advanced programming skills (preferable in VBA)~crlf~##R, MATLAB and/or SQL knowledge (desirable)~crlf~##Fluent in English~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience and Key skills:~crlf~##Strong analytical ability~crlf~##Good communication skills~crlf~##Team player, but also capable of working independently~crlf~##Flexibility in time and to be able to easily switch between different tasks or projects~crlf~
Start and duration: March 2020 / limited to 6-12 months / 15-20 hours / week
