The Strategic System Owners has primary accountability to manage and mitigate risk driven by system change implementations, through effective change control. This leader will develop and implement a robust monitoring strategy to continuously evaluate how system changes are impacting policy values. This role will partner with PI, IT, IT actuarial EO Sr Leaders and data, establish a risk framework and effective controls across the end to end SDLC and will ensure, through baseline testing the quality parameters are within acceptable limits. A component of this role is the establishment of a basic data value chain, data governance, data management and data quality standards for the strategic systems which is inclusive of required Financial Baseline test execution and the creation and governance of processes and capabilities for data capture, storage and monitoring from multiple systems and sources. This role also partners with Distribution, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other areas to define and execute business strategy and maximize the value of our business line in support of digital self-service, eCommerce and data exchange.

Strategic System Ownership (including monitoring and controlling change, Data Ownership and digital self-service strategies):~crlf~ ~crlf~* Oversee the creation and enhancement of end-to-end~crlf~data value chain processes and capabilities for data monitoring, data quality and data lineage for Strategic Admins systems (ID3 & ALIP) ~crlf~* Establishes and monitors data quality policies and standards across Allianz Life for areas determined a focus by the data trust board ~crlf~* Own resolution of strategic data issues across the business and IT incorporating technical and business best practices for data governance across Allianz Life~crlf~~crlf~Risk Management & Controls: ~crlf~~crlf~* Develop and implement monitoring strategy for strategic systems (ALIP and ID3) • Ensure BSO, BA and other technical roles are performing duties in accordance with defined risk framework for strategic systems including calcs and values ~crlf~* Work with IT Actuaries and IT QA to enhance roles for values testing and regression ~crlf~* Implement policies and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable system functions for values; safeguard our reputation with regards to accuracy of policy values through the entire lifecycle ~crlf~* Report and coordinate remediation of any discoveries that are material in line with the established risk framework ~crlf~* Ensure controls are adjusted to incorporate new~crlf~methodologies such as agile product delivery without compromising quality and risk standards ~crlf~* Guide Enterprise Data Strategy in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Data Services, Data Consumers and Data owners ~crlf~* In connection with the renewal agenda and customer centricity, establish customer data standards and baselines to be leveraged by owners, consumers and custodians~crlf~~crlf~Organizational Leadership & Operational Capabilities: ~crlf~~crlf~* Support baseline of key financial systems ~crlf~* Support the Digital Marketing in the implementation of the self-service and adoption roadmaps; provide thought leadership on key deliverables in line with EO roadmaps and productivity targets ~crlf~* Support Distribution to develop effective data exchange for current and future channels ~crlf~* Support the development, adoption and maturation of data analytics across Allianz Life ~crlf~* Ensure appropriate funding for data governance strategies and business benefit realization ~crlf~* Support and manage business-specific data specialist that blend business and technical skillsets and knowledge to support development and issue~crlf~resolution ~crlf~* Represent Allianz Life with the global parent on all matters related to data governance and data strategy initiatives as needed ~crlf~* Own and implement global organizational~crlf~and industry best practices, services and tools where a benefit for Allianz Life can be realized~crlf~

Experience: ~crlf~~crlf~* 8-10 years experience required: Related experience in business operations or technology management required. Experience must include demonstrated leadership of complex, cross enterprise~crlf~project and / or process development and~crlf~governance. Must have technical knowledge to interact with and guide IT DBA's, developers and architects. Must be able to effectively build relationships and cross-functional stakeholders and Sr / Executive level leadership, and influence decision making at all levels ~crlf~* 11+ years experience preferred: Experience in Financial Services or Insurance industries strongly preferred; Experience in SDLC, Agile; Understanding of risk and control framework~crlf~* Experience working with Administration systems and Product Implementations; understanding or testing strategies (e.g., regressions and automation)(any preferred systems / technologies)~crlf~~crlf~Education:~crlf~* Four-year degree required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science or related required~crlf~* Advanced degree preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science or related preferred~crlf~
