    The Tax Program Principal is a new role within the Allianz Life Ethics and Compliance department. This role is responsible for enterprise product tax compliance and viewed as an expert senior resource to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements focused on taxation of Company products and services. This role will work closely with Legal and Business Operations leaders to build and manage a product tax compliance framework for the company that involves ongoing regulatory research, risk assessments and process change recommendations that promote compliance with continually evolving regulations.

    • Build and manage an enterprise tax compliance program and framework for the Company.~crlf~• Lead the ongoing evaluation of complex product tax compliance issues.~crlf~• Advise business operations on tax compliance controls and promote solutions to achieve compliance.~crlf~• Design and analyze tax compliance related measurements; communicate ongoing risk impact to key stakeholders.~crlf~• Manage relationships with internal and external customers, including regular interaction with senior leadership.

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    Required~crlf~• Four-year college degree~crlf~• 6+ years of business experience working within a regulated firm or setting~crlf~• Strong corporate tax, finance or CPA related experience~crlf~• Experience in a compliance, risk management or audit related role~crlf~• Strong organizational skills and program management skills~crlf~• Ability to influence change in working with business stakeholders in a highly-matrixed environment~crlf~• Ability to identify risks and drive practical solutions ~crlf~~crlf~Preferred ~crlf~• Experience working on tax or finance matters within a consulting firm or setting~crlf~• Insurance industry experience~crlf~• Good understanding of technology and business information systems and related processes~crlf~• Masters or advanced degree
