Sr. Administrative Assistant - Product Development
This position will provide administrative support, coordination of activities, and communication for the SVP Actuarial Product Development, six AVPs/Directors and team of 30 actuaries as directed, and participation in special projects, from time to time. ~crlf~~crlf~• Review/prioritize mail and email, and respond to correspondence as appropriate. ~crlf~• Receive, answer or route incoming telephone calls. ~crlf~• Arrange, coordinate and manage travel activities and schedule, including travel and conference registrations and expense reports. ~crlf~• Coordinate with other administrative assistants as needed (e.g. agenda, meeting room space, special speakers, etc.). ~crlf~• Maintain department records and filing system. ~crlf~• Maintain confidential personnel data, business reviews and proposals. ~crlf~• Research and obtain information for reports and special assignments. ~crlf~• Participates and coordinates department projects from time to time, including: following up on pending details, coordinating team activities, managing project documentation and ensuring deadlines are met. ~crlf~• Complete other administrative duties as assigned. ~crlf~- Manage/maintain calendar and meetings (e.g. create agenda, execute lunches/team activities, schedule meeting room, etc.)
• Minimum 10 years of administrative experience required ~crlf~• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience required ~crlf~• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including composing and editing written communication ~crlf~•Ability to recognize potential problems and be proactive in developing solutions ~crlf~• Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple priorities and projects, and work under tight deadlines ~crlf~• Ability to work within a team setting and, frequently, independently ~crlf~• Extensive experience with PC software - Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook~crlf~• Strong organizational skills ~crlf~• Adapt to changing priorities without frustration ~crlf~- Type 65 WPM~crlf~
