Business Process Analyst Specialist - Product Owner

BPA Leader / Product Owner is accountable for understanding, articulating and implementing the overall business vision and roadmap for necessary system features and enhancements. Collaborates closely with key stakeholders to understand the business and customer needs and has a deep understanding of business strategy to help own and drive the backlog and desired outcome of the scrum team. Product Owner will direct the scrum master and cross-functional team during the design, development, testing of the user stories and implementation of the system resolution. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the work from the scrum team is aligned to the business and user needs.

* Using Agile Scrum methodology, creates roadmap to build, refine, and maintain the backlog.~crlf~* Accountable for voice of the customer and the business and incorporates stakeholder input into roadmap. Owns the backlog of work to be completed. Incorporates stakeholder input into the roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and the customer. ~crlf~* Works with stakeholders and business analysts to oversee the writing of detailed user stories and helps elicit, analyze, and document clear, concise conditions of acceptance. ~crlf~* Possesses a deep level of knowledge of our business and understands the strategy.~crlf~* Communicates with leadership and the business on the progress of work related to the roadmap and risks / issues. Works closely with other key stakeholders throughout the organization to communicate updates and impacts. ~crlf~* Acts as primary interface to Scrum Teams. Works with the Business Analyst to ensure completion of UAT and production validation. Collaborates with key stakeholders on business readiness release plans. Primary decision maker on key requirements to be developed.~crlf~* Contributes to improvements in product ownership and agile best practices.~crlf~~crlf~

* 8 or more years experience required: Relevant technical or business experience~crlf~* 11+ years experience preferred: Allianz Operations or Insurance/Financial Industry experience~crlf~* Four-year degree required: Or equivalent work experience~crlf~* Advanced degree preferred: Business or related field~crlf~* Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)~crlf~
