This is a client-oriented analyst and portfolio manager position responsible for management of on-shore mutual funds and providing sales and marketing support for the Global Artificial Intelligence strategies in Asia Pacific.~crlf~~crlf~In this role, you will play an integral role with the team in all aspects of the investment process and assist with the active management of several strategies. You will have meaningful interaction with other senior professionals both internally and externally. ~crlf~The role is based in our office in Taiwan.

## Responsible for management of the investment teams' on-shore funds/mandates and acts as the voice of the represented investment team in Taiwan~crlf~## Serves as the advocate for the investment capability/investment team in the target market~crlf~## Generates new investment ideas in Asia Pacific listed securities (primarily Taiwan) by interacting with the firm’s local analysts in the region ~crlf~## Conducts due diligence for potential investments including financial modelling and interacting with company management and customers/partners. (You must be “advisor” to or “be advisor” in order to carry out such activities, and approved by SITCA) ~crlf~## Covers the entire product range of the represented investment team with a focus on business development activities ~crlf~## Acts as the interface between the represented investment team and the local sales and marketing entities; supports the business development activities of represented strategies in Taiwan primarily and provides backup support in Asia Pacific as needed. (You must be “advisor” to or “be advisor” in order to carry out such activities, and approved by SITCA) ~crlf~## Delivers the required portfolio and investment strategy related content to the RFP team and client service entities~crlf~## Customizes and distributes product information with a focus on the investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and illustration of the investment case, according to the needs of the local sales teams~crlf~## Builds an effective internal network with the sales and marketing professionals in Taiwan primarily and Asia Pacific as needed to effectively support business opportunities for the investment team under coverage~crlf~## Provides training to educate the sales force in the required technical details needed to effectively present the investment strategy to the clients~crlf~## Actively provides local sales and marketing colleagues with relevant portfolio commentaries and product presentation content~crlf~## Stays abreast of the strategy’s performance relevant to competitor products in the region and can explain performance scenarios relative to the market environment and peers~crlf~## Reports on product development trends, the competitor situation and the demands from sales channels frequently to the CIO and core product specialist team of the investment capability under coverage~crlf~## Actively participates in global Product Specialist/Portfolio Manager activities in order to share best practices and to leverage the existing business network with sales colleagues~crlf~## Frequently exchanges information with the represented investment team in order to stay updated with the latest developments and to maintain superior knowhow for the regional sales process~crlf~## Make sure investment portfolio operations comply with Taiwan local regulations. ~crlf~~crlf~

## Over 5 years' professional experience in portfolio management, institutional sales, product management or a high-end institutional client service role~crlf~## Over 2 years’ experience managing either a Taiwan domiciled Equity Fund or a Taiwan domiciled fund with significant Equity holdings ~crlf~## Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for a diverse audience and clearly articulate investment content~crlf~## Strong written and verbal command of English and Mandarin Chinese~crlf~## Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment~crlf~## Intellectual and cultural curiosity; interest in technological innovation and disruption~crlf~## Proactive with internal and external clients and responsive to their needs~crlf~## CFA, CEFA or CIIA qualification desired.~crlf~~crlf~
