We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Accountant (f/m/d). This position is based in our office in Frankfurt.~crlf~~crlf~This is a multifaceted and exciting role for a qualified accountant encompassing both operational processing, projects and a broad spectrum of Finance responsibilities including regulatory and audit. This role reports to the Head of Revenue & Expenses (EMEA).

##Perform validation and controlling of all transactional operational related processes to ensure financial, regulatory and tax accuracy including Balance Sheet substantiation, Profit & Loss analysis and aged items reconciliation~crlf~##Drive, monitor and validate outsourced / offshore operations to guarantee compliance with the control framework and to implement optimization initiatives with third party providers~crlf~##Ensure the timeliness, completeness and accuracy in financial statement and group reporting processes~crlf~##Lead, coordinate and be responsible for accounting, source-to-pay and treasury transactions~crlf~##Oversee and co-ordinate the preparation of statutory, regulatory and annual financial reports for different European entities~crlf~##Prepare and submit regulatory reporting for Bundesbank~crlf~##Represent Accounting & Financial Management and support reviews and queries from internal and external auditors, regulatory and tax authorities, customers and 3rd party service providers~crlf~##Support and implementation of global / regional projects as well as facilitate or initiate projects to streamline, harmonize and automate existing processes~crlf~##To support other internal functions with ad-hoc analysis as well as problem-solving / clarification for the wider business on tax-related and accounting aspects to result in solutions~crlf~

##At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study with deep operational accounting experience~crlf~##Qualified chartered accountant or equivalent (with HGB and IFRS) preferred ~crlf~##Profound knowledge of accounting software (SAP), strong Excel skills~crlf~##Communication and oversight of offshore shared service centres as a responsibility~crlf~##Evidence of inspiring change in a finance setting with strong systems and analytical skills (good competency in IT tools for automation or data analysis would be advantageous) ~crlf~##Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbally and written proficiency in English and German), self-motivated, independent and positive teammate, stress resilient and dedication to quality assured work~crlf~##Sufficient gravitas to represent Finance in local management meetings, external parties with a confident ability to address problems and implement solutions~crlf~##Motivating change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong systems and analytical skills ~crlf~##Ability to understand big picture views, how tasks are connected as well as dive into detail meticulously ~crlf~##Strong quantitative and versatile problem solving and multi-tasking skills~crlf~##Sensitivity to culture norms and differences and a pro-active teammate~crlf~##Proven VAT knowledge and experience with cross-border transactions~crlf~##Previous experience in Asset Management / Financial service industry is a plus~crlf~##A strong treasury background or experience would be favored~crlf~##Experience with offshore / outsourced environments is preferred and the ability to work with and lead a wide variety of cross-cultural and functional teams would be essential~crlf~
