Strategy / Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) in CUOC Performance Management
In this role you will focus on portfolio management at various levels of AGCS underwriting operations, from account to segment to client and portfolio level. You will work in close cooperation with the lines of business management to ensure that portfolios develop into the desired direction and that planned underwriting actions are translated into reality to ensure increased and sustainable profitability.~crlf~Further focus is put on the development of concepts that support the AGCS underwriting strategy discussions and optimal portfolio composition. This will embrace segment analysis as well as gaining insights of market trends and finding approaches to manage through the insurance market cycle.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Support the formulation of AGCS UW strategy and optimal portfolio composition~crlf~##Work with the business owners to set concrete action plans for underperforming segments and follow up on target achievements – track against KPIs and milestones~crlf~##Create regular reporting for top management and business owners to ensure transparency and alignment of all stakeholders~crlf~##Steer and drive forward the AGCS Smart circle process~crlf~##Support the Lobs with regular qualitative as well as quantitative analysis of portfolio segments for certain lines of business of AGCS, including translation into underwriting strategies~crlf~##Monitor market performance regarding price and capacity trends, loss and inflation~crlf~##Support the develop of Portfolio Steering tools across multiple lines of business, including profitability analysis, target setting, monitoring and reporting. Support the implementation and translation of strategy in concrete underwriting actions, with impact to pricing, volatility management and risk accumulation.~crlf~
##Master degree (or equivalent) in finance, science or engineering, especially in fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistic and / or actuarial background~crlf~##Strong analytical, numerical and adaptive problem solving skills, using logical and methodological approach~crlf~##Min 5 years of significant experience in portfolio management, data analytics and risk modelling~crlf~##Min 3 years of experience of working internationally with strong ability for cross border adaption~crlf~##Underwriting experience, ideally for large corporate clients, is an advantage~crlf~##Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications~crlf~##Hands-on professional data analytics skills using Python, SQL is an advantage~crlf~##Comfortable in a fast paced environment, able to consistently revise approach in response to new information~crlf~##Successful track record of leadership of direct teams or complex matrix environments, strong project management experience~crlf~##Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to “sell” an improvised or prepared audience a winning story~crlf~##Willingness and ability to effectively work with various team members when gathering requirements, delivering solutions, and eliciting suggestions and feedback~crlf~##Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex in a simple way to understand terminology~crlf~##English: Fluent (able to negotiate)~crlf~
