Senior Financial Analyst (m/f/d) in Planning & Performance Management
Planning & Performance Management (P&PM) fulfills the controlling role within AGCS and is the strategic and financial advisor to the business owners, enabling them to best steer their business. ~crlf~Based in Munich, you will be part of a diverse and international team that is responsible for establishing a reliable reporting, driving the planning process and providing value-adding analyses of financials. The position provides comprehensive insights into AGCS financials and strategy.
In this role you will….~crlf~##Support building up a reporting landscape within P&PM that allows for standardization and efficient processing of reporting needs of various customers~crlf~##Constantly interact with key stakeholders (e.g. Actuarial, Accounting, Portfolio Management, Claims)~crlf~##Support finance teams around the globe during reporting~crlf~##Analyze and report on AGCS financial performance~crlf~##Work on global finance projects~crlf~##Assist in the day to day activities of the team~crlf~
##Excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Masters), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or qualified by experience in related discipline~crlf~##Minimum of 5 years’ experience ideally in the financial services industry (e.g. P&C insurance or reinsurance)~crlf~##Already first programming experience e.g. VBA and very good MS Office skills (particularly MS Excel)~crlf~##Strong analytical skills incl. ability to handle and analyze large amount of data~crlf~##Ability to manage projects in an agile way using an iterative approach to project management that focuses on breaking down large projects into more manageable tasks, which are completed in short iterations throughout the project life cycle.~crlf~##Ability to identify and initiate appropriate actions to remediate issues that can be abstract / ambiguous and follow through on their remediation.~crlf~##Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing).~crlf~##Fluent in English both speaking and writing~crlf~
