Senior Auditor (m/f/d)
Audit is the home for those who dare to support Group Allianz and AGCS in archiving their strategic targets.~crlf~ ~crlf~As Senior Auditor you will be an experienced expert with in-depth knowledge in internal/external audit and experience in the financial services industry. You identify the business risks at an early stage and advise management on how to improve the control environment and assists in executing the strategic direction of the department. You are managing large scale and cross-functional audit engagements from planning to the follow-up. Proven project management skills are a must. Strong technical and ethical characteristics are fundamental to audit success. An auditor should therefore maintain appropriate technical skills as well as agility and a commitment to continuous learning. The ability to see the big picture is important for each audit.
In this role you will….~crlf~##Plan and lead complex audit assignments, supervise audit projects, define risk-based audit areas, audit business transactions, workflows, processes, and control systems~crlf~##Determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities to be remedied, analyze audit results, formulate proposals for solution, and communicate results to different level of management and ensure that the audit recommendations are implemented adequately~crlf~##Provide input for tactical management of the annual audit plan~crlf~##Ensure compliance with the audit policies and the respective professional standards ~crlf~##Assist the Management Team in the update of audit universe, methods, initiate improvements of workflows, processes, and control systems and promote best practice sharing~crlf~##Perform quality assurance~crlf~##Supervise individual contributors during assigned engagements including training and coaching~crlf~##Planning and implementation of technical training (team/peer)~crlf~##Take responsibility for the relationship with the auditees and become a recognized expert and partner to the business~crlf~##Manage communication with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels~crlf~##Collaborate on departmental and inter-organizational projects~crlf~
##5 up to 7 years of professional experience in internal/external audit and/ or risk management or a governance function in the financial services industry.~crlf~##Several years of experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not a prerequisite.~crlf~##University degree and master’s in economics, business administration or equivalent.~crlf~##Audit related certification (started or completed e.g. CIA, CFA, CISA).~crlf~##Strong intellectual and analytical skills and a very good understanding of processes, structures, and the regulatory environment.~crlf~##Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the talent to empathize for the auditee’s perspective and ability to listen.~crlf~##Team spirit, self-motivation, as well as ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures.~crlf~##Proven command of the English language (verbal and written) and fluency in at least one additional language is mandatory.~crlf~
