Portfolio Monitoring Expert (m/f/d)

The Portfolio Steering team is part of Global Portfolio Management and is located across London, Munich and Bucharest. ~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting to the Head of Strategic Portfolio Steering and Monitoring and based in Munich, you are responsible for your own area of expertise. This includes e.g. ensuring if work results are reviewed and guiding junior colleagues in day-to-day work.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Manage & drive forward own area of responsibility or project~crlf~##Prepare and perform Strategic Portfolio Steering and Monitoring analyses and reports for assigned business area including documentation, communication and explanation of results to CUO line of businesses and other stakeholders, proactively providing advice based on fact based analyses on insurance portfolios to optimize AGCS profitability~crlf~##Develop, enhance and maintain global Pricing monitoring approaches and processes~crlf~##Peer review work from other team members and provide guidance to junior team members~crlf~##Promote close collaboration and interaction with the various business areas (Group, UW, MM, CFO, etc.) to foster mutual understanding how business developments, UW strategy and other trends impact Pricing KPIs~crlf~##Keep abreast of leading market practice and drive innovation~crlf~
##You have an excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master) with quantitative focus (e.g. Economics, Statistics) or you are qualified by experience~crlf~##Market degree such as CPCU or A/CII an advantage, Actuarial qualification a plus~crlf~##You have at least 3 years of business experience professional experience in an international working environment, preferable spanning multiple areas including Financial controlling and P&C pricing~crlf~##Proven experience in developing, enhancing and implementing analyses and monitoring processes for insurance portfolios and expertise in Pricing approaches and concepts for insurance portfolios~crlf~##Deep Market & Product knowledge and an understanding of the AGCS product portfolio and macroeconomic trends~crlf~##Insurance and Finance know-how (ideally P&C) as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group combined with a robust understanding of other areas allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting~crlf~##Data-driven and innovation minded with high analytical skills~crlf~##Very good data analysis skills incl. VBA and SQL~crlf~##Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics easily also to non-experts~crlf~##Multi-task profile with focus on effective use of own resources and handling of competing priorities under tight deadlines~crlf~##Fluent in English is mandatory. German skills are an advantage~crlf~
