Key Account Manager, Mediterranean & Africa region
Based in Paris and reporting directly to the Head of Head of Distribution for the Mediterranean & Africa Region, you will be expected to proactively sell AGCS products and services to new and existing corporate Clients, ensuring sustainable profitability. You will do this by proactively developing and fostering long term, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers and AGCS staff. You will also be expected to lead and mobilize key account teams to ensure AGCS performance and ensure client satisfaction.
##Proactively foster robust relationships with AGCS key clients at and develop profitable relationships with new clients – with a particular focus on New Markets.~crlf~##Facilitate client and broker understanding of AGCS underwriting appetites and capabilities~crlf~##Act as "first port of call" solution provider and trusted advisor for all client accounts~crlf~##Develop strong relationships with brokers in order to access market opportunities and to collaborate efficiently on key accounts~crlf~##Drive remedial action where necessary, e.g. large claims, IIS~crlf~##Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify suitable pipeline clients~crlf~##Proactively lead and coordinate bids for key client acquisition~crlf~##Develop in depth client and industry expertise and use this knowledge to challenge the client and uncover un-stated needs~crlf~##Drive Strategic Account Planning~crlf~##Develop balanced pipeline with target accounts / submissions to fulfil financial targets and desired business mix~crlf~##Successfully increase AGCS "Size of Wallet", meeting Upsell and Cross Sell targets, especially with AGCS Top Clients~crlf~##Engage with the underwriters to profitably maximize the share of wallet~crlf~##Clearly articulate the AGCS multi-line business offering and benefits to deliver Upsell and Cross Sell opportunities~crlf~##Successfully deliver revenue and client retention renewal targets~crlf~##Clearly articulate the AGCS multi- line business offering and benefits~crlf~##Develop compelling individual value propositions for key people involved in the buying decision~crlf~
##At least 5 years’ experience in an Underwriting or Development role in industrial / specialty insurance business~crlf~##Significant experience of delivering in an analytical role (sales environment, controlling roles or similar)~crlf~##Significant demonstrable experience of fostering long term, profitable relationships at senior level in broker and client organizations~crlf~##Successful track record of prospecting new clients in industrial / specialty insurance segment.~crlf~##Proven ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~##Ability to negotiate best position for AGCS, and client, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties~crlf~##Excellent inter personal skills~crlf~##Strong communication skills~crlf~##Fluent French and English~crlf~
