At Allianz our Global Broker Management team manages and leads initiatives to raise the external profile and business development of the Allianz solution offering to the market.~crlf~ ~crlf~With close to €7Bn annual premium, Global Brokers are one of the largest and most important distribution channels in Allianz Group. An essential part of the Strategic Management Team, the role steers, coordinates and monitors the development of business strategies and initiatives with the assigned Global Brokers, to generate profitable organic growth in Allianz Group with specific focus on Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS). Acting as a conduit between Global Brokers and Allianz , the role proactively initiates, supports and shares best practice from across AGCS & Allianz Group to positively contribute towards OEs achieving their respective business plans. ~crlf~ ~crlf~Reporting directly to the Allianz Global Head of Broker Management, you will be responsible for pipeline and relationship management with major brokers and for driving profitable growth in all business segments. In this role, you will also be expected to build relationships on global, regional and local basis with Global Brokers as well as selected Broker Networks, and improve communication of the Allianz & AGCS risk appetite to broking partners.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Proactively build and lead the long-term strategic management of assigned Global Broker portfolio to ensure achievement of global KPIs and annual business plan. Act as a relationship director internally for Allianz & AGCS and externally to Global, Regional and Local Executive Management teams for all enquiries, point of escalation and broker remuneration oversight. ~crlf~##Maximize profitable growth by identifying, developing and executing growth initiatives with core AGCS & Allianz Group stakeholders on global, regional and local level. Play an active and leading role in thought leadership and delivery of new and existing strategic initiatives. ~crlf~##Responsible for coordination and management of Global Broker remuneration plans on local, regional and global level in AGCS and Allianz Group with specific attention on Global Broker Services Agreements. ~crlf~##Responsible for coordination and management of global initiatives, protocols and KPI management including the bottom up planning and progress monitoring and reporting. ~crlf~##Promote One Allianz proposition to support AGCS and AZ Group Global Broker and Key Client cross-sell opportunities / strategies. ~crlf~##Through regular interaction and provision of proactive support to regional and local market management teams, be a source of best practice and ad-hoc mentoring of key issues.~crlf~
##You have preferably an degree in Business, Economics, Law or appropriate discipline~crlf~##You have extensive experience in commercial or industrial lines insurance industry in front-line business development ~crlf~##You bring in the knowledge of large risks and specialty insurance. Ability to utilize experience and data to implement best practice in market / distribution management~crlf~##You have strong strategic and analytical understanding and knowledge~crlf~##You can bring in a successful track record in leading and managing sales and marketing function, ideally across different locations~crlf~##You have demonstrable experience of fostering long-term, profitable relationships at top management level in broker and client organizations~crlf~##You have significant experience of working internationally and of remotely managing across numerous locations ideally within a complex matrix organization (influencing without authority)~crlf~##You have the ability to define segmentation and client differentiation strategies including fostering market-winning value proposition~crlf~##You are comfortable and have proven success at negotiating to C-suite level~crlf~##You have the ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to sell an improvised or prepared audience story~crlf~##You have the ability to advise, guide and direct as a coach to help someone develop their skills
