Finance Specialist (m/f/d)
At AGCS our Finance department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class finance service. We work in close collaboration with other departments to drive profitability.~crlf~ ~crlf~As a Finance Specialist you a seasoned professional and contributes to the development and delivery of strategic projects within AGCS. You identify, proposes and executes autonomously development and implementation of best practices respectively harmonizing of processes your area of responsibility. You liaise intensively with nearly all Finance departments as well as IT and many other areas (like Claims, AZ Technology or internal and external auditors).
In this role you will….~crlf~##Represent Finance in Cross functional projects as Product Owner or expert and further develop financial applications / architecture and process landscape in close collaboration with CFO pillars, OBT and IT, in an agile release train.~crlf~##Support the execution of the Closing process, Planning process and Payment processing by coordinating and monitoring associated activities on issue identification and resolution, and also by analyzing business related issues. Execute or contribute to the execution of governance processes in the responsibility of Finance Solutions.~crlf~##Support the root cause analysis of data quality issues, e.g. by analyzing data, processes, and data flows.~crlf~##Harmonize, document and implement Finance related processes, and work on change initiatives and solutions development within Finance Solutions.~crlf~##Review audit findings that relate to the financial applications and processes, identify possible courses of action to address the findings, and implement in collaboration with involved stakeholders steps to mitigate.~crlf~
##You have an excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.~crlf~##You have proven work experience in the Finance and Insurance Area as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting. IFRS 17 experience and knowledge is a strong plus.~crlf~##You have successfully led or participated in projects, ideally in an agile set up.~crlf~##You have an excellent analytical Thinking and Numeracy, you are able to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes to rapidly distil key issues and provide insight in various situations.~crlf~##You have a high IT affinity and ideally knowledge and experience with SAP/BW.~crlf~##Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing).~crlf~##Fluent in English.~crlf~
