Finance Specialist (m/f/d)
At AGCS our Finance department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class finance service. We work in close collaboration with other departments to drive profitability. ~crlf~ ~crlf~In this position you will be a seasoned professional and contribute within this function to the development and delivery of strategic projects and maintenance activities within AGCS. You identify, propose and execute by order development and implementation of best practices respectively harmonizing of processes in your area of responsibility. You have to liaise with the CFO pillars, IT, process management and other AGCS and Allianz stakeholders and contributors inside and outside of the agile release trains.
In this role you will…~crlf~##Further develop financial applications / architecture and process landscape in close collaboration with CFO pillars, Process Management department or IT, in an agile release train.~crlf~##Support the execution of the Closing process, Planning process and Payment processing by coordinating and monitoring associated activities on issue identification and resolution, and also by analyzing business related issues. You will also execute or contribute to the execution of governance processes in the responsibility of Finance Solutions.~crlf~##Harmonize, document and implement Finance related processes, and work on change initiatives and solutions development within Finance Solutions.~crlf~##Review audit findings that relate to the financial applications and processes, identify possible courses of action to address the findings, and implement in collaboration with involved stakeholders steps to mitigate.~crlf~
##You have proven work experience in the Finance and Insurance Area as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting. IFRS 17 experience and knowledge is a strong plus.~crlf~##You have successfully led or participated in projects, ideally in an agile set up as business expert or (certified) Proxy Product Owner. In those projects you have successfully proven that you are able to deal with complex stakeholder structures and conflicting requirements. ~crlf~##You have a solid understanding of data modelling, operations and technical workflows with regards to financial reporting and closing operations.~crlf~##You have an excellent analytical thinking and numeracy, you are able to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes to rapidly distil key issues and provide insight in various situations. Ideally, you are able to analyze data with standards like MS-Access or SQL.~crlf~##You have a high IT affinity and sound knowledge and experience with SAP/BW.~crlf~##You have the ability to identify and initiate appropriate actions to remediate issues that can be abstract / ambiguous and follow through on their remediation.~crlf~##You have an excellent tertiary qualification (ideally Master), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.~crlf~##Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing). ~crlf~##You are comfortable working both in a team and independently, in an international and dynamic environment.~crlf~
