Compliance Expert, Regulatory & Legal Change Monitoring (m/f/d)
We are looking for an Compliance Expert Regulatory & Legal Change Monitoring to join the Compliance Department at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) in Munich.~crlf~ ~crlf~The Compliance Expert Regulatory & Legal Change Monitoring shall have a holistic view of the compliance management system. This includes ensuring comprehensive and consistent mechanisms and processes are in place for monitoring applicable legal and regulatory requirements and changes for AGCS, including those under the Compliance risk areas as per the AGCS Compliance Policy and Solvency II. The role will also oversee the implementation of the AGCS Compliance Policy whilst understanding and assessing the controls for Compliance risk areas ensuring design and control effectivess and also undertake reporting requirements.
In this role you will…~crlf~ ~crlf~##Maintain, review and enhance legal & regulatory monitoring processes and procedures, incl. definition of topic landscape and relevant geographies, with responsibility for maintaining the change monitoring tool. Review and analyse information on regulatory developments with the involvement of the respective functions. Support communication to AGCS stakeholders on areas of regulation with impact on the business, aligning compliance with business objectives, developing action plans and identifying process owners.~crlf~##Oversee the collection and implementation of legal and regulatory requirements for AGCS including risk classifications and assessment of control effectiveness, with responsibility for the Compliance oversight tool.~crlf~##Assess and maintain the risks under the Compliance function, overseeing effectiveness, relevance and applicability in other Compliance programmes and assessments.~crlf~##Being the Compliance liaison for Group Compliance, AZ entities and other stakeholders on regulatory and legal change monitoring, and on regulatory oversight, to continuously exchange on design and developments.~crlf~##Steer the identification of common requirements, and maintenance of information sources across all legal set-ups of AGCS with regards to relevant Compliance topic risk areas. ~crlf~##Prepare and/or contribute towards reporting to AGCS stakeholders including the Board, Group and regulator(s).~crlf~
##You have a Bachelor Degree, MBA/ LLM or equivalent.~crlf~##You bring very strong Compliance and/or Risk experience from the insurance industry. Any legal experience or training is a benefit.~crlf~##You have experience in regulatory development related tasks (sources, process, legal/ regulatory changes) and operational compliance including implementation of regulatory requirements.~crlf~##Good understanding of the insurance/ reinsurance business and regulations.~crlf~##Experience in stakeholder management, preferably in a global set up.~crlf~##Strong initiative with ability to resolve problems with a high degree of autonomy.~crlf~##Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.~crlf~##Ability to steer and manage projects/initiatives with a cross functional view. ~crlf~##Fluent in English and German~crlf~
