Branch Operations & Regularoty Reporting Specialist
Provide effective and efficient regulatory reporting to IBC, GAA and other parties. Provide administrative and processing oversight and guidance on behalf of the Canada branch. Work collaboratively with the Head of Legal & Compliance - Canada on data extracts and filings. Work collaboratively with the Head of Finance - Canada on operational insight and oversight in areas including but not limited to premium booking and recovery, reinsurance booking and recovery and reporting. Work collaboratively with the Chief Agent - Canada to ensure operational excellence for the Canada branch.
Operations Collaboration ~crlf~##Work collaboratively with Operation Management to ensure accurate and timely booking, data availability, performance, response, cost, quality. Consistently meet and report on operational metrics to assist in managing stakeholder expectations. Develop, manage, and sustain effective working relationships with all key local/regional stakeholders.~crlf~Process Management & Metrics~crlf~##Work closely with the Chief Agent, Head of Legal & Compliance and Head of Finance to ensure accurate and timely reporting. And, working closely with other key stakeholders including Line of Business Heads to confirm premium and reinsurance bookings are timely and accurate.~crlf~Change Management~crlf~##Work collaboratively on change implementation with the Operations team. Communicate upwards on progress, challenges and success.~crlf~Innovation Management~crlf~##Work as a team with members of the Canadain Leadership Team to identify and share best practices.~crlf~Risk Management~crlf~##Proactively ensure Best Practices and compliance with AGCS standards.~crlf~~crlf~
##Completion of a recognized insurance qualification (or equivalent in the Financial sector)~crlf~##Experience working in an international insurer environment~crlf~##Working understanding of Property & Casualty insurer reporting requirements in Canada~crlf~##Working understanding in relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages or other area of expertise~crlf~##Working understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation etc.~crlf~##Communication Skills - verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills~crlf~##Task Planning – time management skills and experience of scheduling tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities~crlf~~crlf~
