Account Technician - Global Clients Unit - Multinational, O'Fallon
Provide an effective and efficient processing service to brokers/clients, underwriting, claims, and credit control/accounting.
##Responsible for accounts of low to medium complexity. ~crlf~##Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts/claims experience – and if required, escalation to UW in case of missing information. ~crlf~##In case of AZ multinational programs, global implementation, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciling all issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with the Underwriter.~crlf~##Authorization in line with assigned limits.~crlf~##Collect and provide relevant information for renewal/quotation to Underwriter.~crlf~##Using or providing (in case of renewal) all relevant information to accurately and efficiently prepare policy set-up and issuance as well as booking preparation for new and renewed business.~crlf~##Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, (e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client) and co-insurers in a timely and accurate manner.~crlf~##Provide accurate and complete material (e.g., handover sheets) to the Shared service unit for all offshoring tasks (policy set up, premiums booking, etc.) and manage referrals received from SSU. ~crlf~##Coordinate AQS requests and complex queries with SSU, credit control, brokers, Underwriters, etc. ~crlf~##For multinational programs, reach out to SOEs in coordination with Credit Control to achieve reconciliation of premium payments. ~crlf~##Regular monitoring and follow-up with SOEs on receivables and policy issuance.~crlf~##Manage own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met. ~crlf~##Adhere to risk management and compliance procedures. ~crlf~##Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and follow-up of all accounts and escalate, if required.~crlf~##Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers including clients and brokers, Underwriting, Accounting/Credit Control and the Shared Services Unit (SSU), attending relevant meetings, as required.~crlf~##Support UAT and other tasks such as ad-hoc request as required.~crlf~~crlf~
##High School diploma;~crlf~##1-3 years of experience in an insurance operations environment;~crlf~##Completion of a recognized insurance qualification (or equivalent within the financial sector) preferred;~crlf~##Experience working in a global environment preferred;~crlf~##Intermediate level of understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, premium collection, and cancellation;~crlf~##Good knowledge of MS Office applications and other relevant business applications;~crlf~##Ability to continuously develop technical and systems knowledge, business and insurance understanding;~crlf~##Understanding of insurance products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages;~crlf~##Strong written and verbal communication skills an interpersonal skills; and~crlf~##Strong time management skills and ability to schedule tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities.~crlf~~crlf~
