    Provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to Underwriting, Accounts, Claims, Credit Control and Brokers/Clients.

  • Responsabilidades

    ##Handle Accounts of medium to high complexity (i.e., complex reinsurance panels or captives structures). Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information, including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts/claims experience – and if required, escalation to Underwriter in case of missing information. In case of IIPs, steering of implementation globally, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciliation of all issues and addressing questions regarding coverage and wording with UW. ~crlf~##Authorization in line with assigned limits. Acting as mentor/trainer for new joiners.~crlf~##Using all relevant information to accurately and efficiently populate IT system(s) with new and renewed business. Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives and reinsurers. Compiling of standard and non-standard policy wordings. ~crlf~##Regular reconciliation and discussion of content with UW and broker/customer. ~crlf~##Chase and reconcile premiums exploiting underwriting file and system entries in close collaboration with Credit Control. Liaise with brokers and/or Underwriters to ensure timely premium payment. Coordinates premium chasing and reconciliation activities~crlf~##Proactively manage and self-prioritize own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and follow-up of all accounts in the respective responsibility and escalation, if required.~crlf~##Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts/Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts, Clients and Brokers and attend relevant internal and external meetings. Regular and extensive exchange with clients regarding all account specific matters. ~crlf~##System Super User representing the team in local and global, as well as cross-functional projects.~crlf~##Contribute to projects, UATs, and other ad-hoc request as required.

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    ##High School diploma;~crlf~##3-5 years of experience in an insurance operations environment;~crlf~##Completion of a recognized insurance qualification (or equivalent within the financial sector) preferred;~crlf~##Experience working in a global environment preferred;~crlf~##Advanced experience in policy administration (or alternatively 2-3 years of experience of administrative tasks in other business);~crlf~##Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and other relevant business applications;~crlf~##Ability to continuously develop technical and systems knowledge, business and insurance understanding;~crlf~##Understanding of insurance products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages;~crlf~##Understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control and cancellation;~crlf~##Strong written and verbal communication skills an interpersonal skills; and~crlf~##Strong time management skills and ability to schedule tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities.
