    The IT Integration Architecture Lead for North America (NA) is responsible and accountable for establishing, maintaining and continuously developing a cohesive IT architecture. The IT architecture needs to serve both the functional business as well as the IT requirements for a widely standardized and cost-efficient, but still flexible, infrastructure and application landscape. ~crlf~In the increasingly agile organizational setup at AGCS, the IT Integration Architecture Lead NA will also have to guide (or even manage) joint design and implementation activities, blending business requirements and IT capabilities into a working end-to-end solution built along sustainable design principles.~crlf~~crlf~Finally, the IT Integration Architecture Lead NA will take responsibility for establishing and leading a new IT integration architecture team in Chicago. Together with his/her team and the AGCS IT organization, the IT Integration Architecture Lead (NA) will focus on providing the AGCS business with appropriate IT solutions to serve the insurance market in North America, especially in the MidCorp segment.

  • Responsabilidades

    ##Liaise with the business and other stakeholders in North America and the wider Allianz organization to support business initiatives and to establish, maintain and continuously develop the strategic IT application architecture at AGCS. Actively encourage a viable step-by-step approach to consolidate towards a (perpetual) target architecture - considering business needs as well as budget and technology constraints. ~crlf~##Gain a high-level understanding of supported insurance business processes as well as IT application capabilities at AGCS to challenge and collaborate with the business, business architecture and IT teams to design and implement sustainable IT architectures and integrated IT solutions which are adequately supporting business and IT operations requirements in terms of maturity, stability, performance and cost-efficiency.~crlf~##Proactively promote and enforce compliance with agreed architecture principles by representing enterprise architecture (and associated economic benefits) towards the COO/CIO management level.~crlf~##Support implementation of Allianz Group initiatives, standards, and policies and evolve the services provided.~crlf~##Build up a highly-skilled team of 2-3 Integration Architects in the AGCS Chicago office.~crlf~##Lead and manage a (regional) group of architects within a geographically dispersed global team, ensuring consistency of business processes and IT architecture across regions.~crlf~##Coordinate architecture efforts across geographic regions and continuously share best practices and approaches across regional teams, offering support when required. ~crlf~##Manage and challenge strategic partners, vendors, and other service providers to ensure that they understand and support the general outlines of the target IT architecture and take the architecture principles into account when implementing projects.

  • Requisitos / Habilidades

    ##5+ years professional experience in IT architecture, software development and/or IT management with a leading consultancy or a financial institution, including at least 3 years in a team lead/managerial position;~crlf~##Seasoned management experience leading a team of IT experts in a distributed setup, preferably in software development of highly integrated, service-oriented applications;~crlf~##Self-starter, developing concepts/strategies to address important trends or requirements and driving topics independently; ~crlf~##Experience with change management and leading collaboration partners through change;~crlf~##Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Communicating “right to the point” for the respective audiences in a positive manner to influence/convince key stake holders and gain their support;~crlf~##Experience with budget and resource management, including contract negotiation and SLA (service level agreement) based steering of external service partners and suppliers;~crlf~##Insurance industry experience preferred but not essential; and~crlf~##University degree in IT, Applied Mathematics or Business Management (with strong focus on IT).
