As a member of Allianz Group, Allianz Global Benefits specializes in arranging and packaging local Employee Benefits insurance solutions into global programs and operates a worldwide network of insurers in many countries. These solutions are provided to multinational corporations and global brokers and encompass the full range of corporate protection and pension products and services available within the network. Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, it has on-site experts based in regional Allianz offices across multiple continents.~crlf~ ~crlf~The Head of Employee Benefits Technical Team will be part of the Product & Solutions department and be responsible to ensure efficient and timely underwriting and onboarding with the Network of Insurers and the global UW desk of local group policies within the global Risk Management programs including the lines of business Life, Accident, Disability and Medical. In this function he/she is also driving the technical proposition for the global Risk Management programs in close alignment with the respective Stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to:~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~##Responsible to drive a consistent pricing and local onboarding process for all Network Insurers of the Allianz Global Benefits Network and have the team executing on those~crlf~##Develop and consistently improve local and global market knowledge on local product offering with focus on the technical underlying pricing and UW within the team and translate this into the global program offerings supporting RFPs and/or discussions with Captives and brokers/consultants~crlf~##Responsible for the relationships with AZRe and their global UW desk to ensure smoothest process for day to day working on especially Pooling and Global Underwriting onboarding and the overall technical proposition building for all risk management programs~crlf~##Define content, priorities and drive key requirements with different stakeholders to ensure best in class technical product proposition for the global Risk Management programs in close alignment with Tender and Sales~crlf~##Responsible to implement product propositions within the Network and find specific technical solutions, where required~crlf~##Support the Tender and Sales Team in client pitches or stewardship meetings with Multinational Clients and/or their Captives~crlf~##Responsible for a new to be set-up team of regional technical experts with different seniority levels and their development~crlf~

Qualifications:~crlf~##Degree in Economics or Mathematics plus actuarial education~crlf~##Strong track record in the Employee Benefits segment, with excellent technical background in Captive, Pooling and Global Underwriting with prior experience either as an underwriter or as an actuary ~crlf~##Fluent in English and German, knowledge and competences in an additional language is an asset~crlf~##Advanced MS Excel proficiency as well as proficiency in full MS Office Suite~crlf~##Leadership skills~crlf~ ~crlf~Experience:~crlf~##+7 years of experience in Employee Benefits pricing and/or underwriting on a local and global level~crlf~##+2 years of experience in managing a global team in a complex setup with many internal and external stakeholders~crlf~##Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills~crlf~##Strong entrepreneurial mind-set, with the ability to drive decision making~crlf~##Commercially minded with ability to think with accurate business acumen and to drive and support the underwriting, tender and account management functions with string costumer first focus~crlf~##Very strong organizational and prioritization skills~crlf~##Ability to work independently and proactively in very complex environment~crlf~##Team player with ability to work well under pressure~crlf~##Ideally with agile working experience~crlf~
