Head of Strategy & Transformation, Life & Health, Asia Pacific
We are searching for a dynamic leader to join our Life & Health leadership team, to work closely with the CEO of Life & Health, Allianz Asia Pacific to engage and support the leadership teams in the Life & Health Operating Entities (OEs), to set strategy, identify key areas of transformation, performance manage and report on the initiatives to take the businesses to the next level and out-perform on growth targets. The incumbent will be a key member in the Life & Health team, supporting an ambitious growth strategy and working closely with the Allianz Operating Entities in Asia to make the businesses fit for the future through effective transformation programs as set in the respective OEs plans. As a valued contributor, the incumbent will also produce, analyze and synthesize information from multiple markets and OEs.
•~crlf~Work closely to support the CEO of Life & Health and the OEs develop strategy and on-going performance management to meet and exceed KPI’s~crlf~•~crlf~Engage with CEO's on behalf of Regional Life & Health CEO to support on initiatives to help achieve KPI’s, including sales growth and profit targets. ~crlf~•~crlf~Support and steer the business (market management, operations etc.) through the Centers of Excellence, to review the performance against the plans and work with the OE’s to meet the targets as set out. ~crlf~•~crlf~Demonstrate analytical approach to solving problems by breaking down the question, managing data and organizing facts into clear analysis to build assumptions and facilitate the development of feasibility studies, benchmark comparisons, and performance analyses. Research and develop new regional opportunities and partnerships~crlf~•~crlf~To advice the CEO Life & Health on growth opportunities through In Force Portfolio Management & Organic initiatives.~crlf~•~crlf~Collaborate across business lines (P&C, Digital) to maximize opportunities for growth. ~crlf~•~crlf~Collaborate with project owners, ensure that timelines and deliverables are on track, ensure that all KPIs are measured and on track, and prepare monthly Life Days where our Life insurance CEOs and AZAP ExCom members meet to discuss progress and next steps. ~crlf~•~crlf~Support Life & Health OEs to implement best practices and encourage cross sharing among countries~crlf~~crlf~
•~crlf~10+ years’ experience in the Life/Health insurance industry or similar experience in management consulting. ~crlf~•~crlf~Outstanding English communication skills, both verbally and written. ~crlf~•~crlf~Ability to liaise with senior management and effectively push deadlines and deliverables.~crlf~•~crlf~Positive attitude and drive to engage stakeholders in OEs to achieve ambitious strategic and transformation plans. ~crlf~•~crlf~Strong soft skills, influencing without authority. Strong project management of workstreams - tracking and monitoring~crlf~•~crlf~Demonstrated multi-market experience, financial acumen, experience in business planning, strategy development and execution~crlf~•~crlf~Strong analytical skills; i.e. ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~•~crlf~Exhibit strong collaboration skills and ability to engage across multiple functions and OEs. Strong team builder, inclusive by nature~crlf~•~crlf~Willingness and ability to travel internationally
