In this critical role, based in Ho Chi Minh City and reporting directly to CEO, you will be responsible to own and manage P&L for commercial distribution channel~crlf~~crlf~•~crlf~Own and manage P&L for Commercial distribution channel~crlf~•~crlf~Planning and delivery of revenues and bottom line targets through Distribution Channel for General Insurance ~crlf~•~crlf~Proactively manage the relationship process and strengthen the business relationship with key brokering partners~crlf~•~crlf~Scheduling and chairing regular development meetings and capability pitches in order to actively managing the pipeline of renewals and new business prospects, contact mapping, contributing towards the planning and hosting of broker hospitality events~crlf~•~crlf~Facilitate broker’s understanding of company underwriting appetites and capabilities and act as point of access for broker enquiries~crlf~•~crlf~Build broker relationships to increase profile and promote company as preferred insurer amongst key broker partners ~crlf~•~crlf~Managing the broker administration process including agency/broker accreditation, broker remuneration strategy etc. ~crlf~•~crlf~Working with Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure that processes are compliant at all times based on legal and regulatory requirements~crlf~•~crlf~Proactively engage in dialogue with brokers to identify and deliver Retention, Upsell and Cross Sell opportunities~crlf~•~crlf~Effective pipeline management (renewals and new business prospects)~crlf~•~crlf~Ensure quality of service provided by broker team meets broker expectations~crlf~•~crlf~Support other company initiatives related to sales, products and operations~crlf~~crlf~~crlf~
•~crlf~Degree preferred, in e.g., Economics, Business Administration, Law or other appropriate discipline~crlf~•~crlf~Proven track of Underwriting or Development role in industrial / specialty insurance business. Robust knowledge in various Line of Business~crlf~•~crlf~Experience of delivering in an analytical role (sales environment, controlling roles or similar). Robust knowledge in at least one trade sector ~crlf~•~crlf~Demonstrable experience of fostering long term, profitable relationships at senior level in broker and client organization~crlf~•~crlf~Successful track record of prospecting new clients in industrial / specialty insurance segment. Experience with International Program Business~crlf~•~crlf~Business insight: ability to implement tools and methodologies to develop market, competitor, and client insight~crlf~•~crlf~Insurance and Sales Distribution: knowledge of large risks and specialty risk insurance. Ability to utilize experience to implement best practice in channel management~crlf~•~crlf~Communication & Presentation: ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story~crlf~•~crlf~Influencing skills: ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without executive authority~crlf~•~crlf~Analytical Skills: ability to analyze highly complex data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire~crlf~•~crlf~Negotiation and conflict management: ability to negotiate best position for company, and client, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties ~crlf~
