Consultant, Strategic Workforce Planning

Strategic Workforce Planning is a business planning process to define the specific actions, based on quantified gaps by role, to ensure the business will have the workforce needed to deliver on their strategy. ~crlf~As part of the Strategic Workforce Planning team, the SWP Consultant will manage a portfolio of SWP projects, working with Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) in Asia to estimate the future talent needs in terms of numbers & mix of roles and the relevant skills, and present the end results to stakeholders both in Asia and Germany. There will be specific attention to digital trends in the insurance industry and the roles and skills required to both drive and sustain these technological changes. The SWP projects will require close working partnership with and ability to communicate to and influence senior OE leadership teams (Board Member level), HR Business Partners, Learning and Recruiting leaders, Digital Transformation teams, and internal/external consulting teams in both Asia and Germany. The SWP Consultant will ensure SWP actions plans are created, implemented, and monitored. The SWP Consultant will also be working to continuously improve the SWP methodology, process, and toolset in partnership with other members of the broader Allianz team in both Asia and Germany. There will be special projects and stakeholder management/communications responsibilities for some portion of the team’s portfolio. This role will also help to shape the capabilities of the broader HR function through design and delivery of training sessions/workshops and introduction of self-service SWP tools. The candidate should be a great communicator, self-directed, accountable, comfortable with change, adept at dealing with ambiguity.

Consulting & Project Leadership:~crlf~Lead multiple, simultaneous SWP engagements/projects and communicate it to stakeholders in Asia and Germany~crlf~Influence without authority across business leaders & teams~crlf~Manage project stakeholder needs including communication of status, updates, and issues~crlf~Navigate organization & systems constraints to deliver SWP products~crlf~Design and lead SWP workshops with project partners~crlf~Build & evolve SWP tools, processes, and training~crlf~Manage follow-up processes to determine effectiveness of actions taken from SWP projects~crlf~~crlf~Training & Communication:~crlf~Design & deliver training on SWP tools and processes~crlf~Drive communication strategy that builds SWP awareness across HR leadership, HR Business Partners, and Digital partners~crlf~Demonstrate value of SWP in digital transformation and overall business success~crlf~~crlf~

7+ years of related professional experience~crlf~Master’s degree or higher preferred~crlf~Studies in Business Administration, International Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience~crlf~Several years of experience working with Board members~crlf~Adept at driving change through effective stakeholder management and communications~crlf~Consulting, organizing & influencing~crlf~Creating and delivering training & workshops, virtually and in-person~crlf~Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and German would be advantage~crlf~Project management~crlf~Analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities~crlf~Proficiency in Excel, specifically in building & using analytical models~crlf~Proficiency in PowerPoint, effective and efficient at bringing data into story form~crlf~Business acumen & customer service orientation~crlf~Experience working in a virtual team and across cultures~crlf~Entrepreneurial and completely comfortable with evolution of role and deliverables~crlf~~crlf~
