Welcome to Group Communications! We are the communicators for the Allianz Group, one of the world's leading insurers and asset managers with private and corporate customers in more than 70 countries and approximately 150,000 employees. Our mission is to win the hearts and minds of our customers and employees. 

Group Comm is made up of four teams that collaborate closely with each other. Together, we are responsible managing the Group's intranet pages and the website, as well as its presence on LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. We represent Allianz to various external stakeholders and our spokespeople engage with the media. We also communicate our purpose and strategy, along with other topics, to Allianz employees, and provide opportunities to interact directly with our senior leadership.

We are a diverse and international team and our working language is English.


Key responsibilities:


You will be responsible for publishing + promoting our content on our intranet "Allianz Connect".

Also, you will help:
- draft content for Allianz digital channels, with a primary focus on Connect
- to proofread our English content and suggest headlines + teasers
- maintain the editorial calendar, including compliance with data privacy requirements
- participate in and take the minutes for our Newsroom meetings
- Support our website and social media team (drafting content, review content) 
You will also have the opportunity to research topics, work in various formats (text, audio, video), and become acquainted with reputation management and communication measurement. 

Overall, you will assist the Group Comm team with its daily work.  

Qualification: you are an English native speaker and have basic knowledge in German


(education, trainings, certificates, special IT skills - e.g coding languages + specific software skills, language skills, etc.):


You are: preferably a student of the humanities, social sciences or economics who is fluent in English and German. You are based in Munich.

You have: 
 -a strong interest in corporate communications, online community management, content management systems, publishing and web accessibility
- excellent MS Office skills
- an eye for detail and the patience for the minutiae of a content management system
- a sense of humor and you can work in a fast paced environment


Experience & Key skills
(relevant professional experience, years of experience, soft skills, etc.):


You are a strong, detailed-oriented editor who may also already have some first writing experience. You love learning how to use new tools (e.g., content management system, editorial planning tool, Photoshop) and you are able to work bilingually.

You have the ability to communicate in a clear, well-structured manner, good social skills and cultural awareness. You enjoy being an active member of a team and you are savvy in Office365 (esp. Teams, Powerpoint).
