Key Responsibilities

  • Financial and cash flow modeling to assess and quantify key risks in new real estate finance opportunities.
  • Credit analyses of tenants, borrowers and guarantors.
  • Running internal models to assess transaction risk ratings.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market conditions drawing on both internal and external research resources. 
  • Drafting of term sheets and reviewing and contributing to legal documentation. 
  • Participating in meetings with clients, brokers and potential lending partners. 
  • Preparing investment committee memorandums.
  • Assisting the wider London office team (Marketing and Communications, Research and Equity) where required.

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Studies in Business Administration or similar education with focus on finance, real estate and/or
  • investment banking
  • Practical work experience within a real estate private equity fund, investment bank and/or Investment
  • management firm is a plus
  • Knowledge in financial modeling
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Team player with analytical abilities and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent in written and spoken English, other European languages desirable
