Job Purpose/Role
In this role you will build, transform, maintain and run the transaction processing of our Enterprise Information Management in SAP Hana XSA according to the Features requirement and design guidelines. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of the related part of application from technical design, development, automated testing, deployment (CI/CD) and production support. These tasks can be done in line organization work or in projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition (grooming) of the technical solution to fulfill the prioritized business requirement, as part of a development team
  • Program new functionalities or apps or maintain existing functionalities for transaction processing and / or data-warehouse components according to the business requirements in SAP Hana XSA (Native Hana)
  • Support of CI/CD by preparing and run of test cases and deployments artifacts in collaboration with the devOps engineers to prepare test cases and work closely with CI/CD Engineers to perform the necessary testing on the developed code and deployment according to the change procedures
  • Ensure all project development activities are documented and perform peer reviews for the code quality and ensure compliance to all standards and guidelines for software programming
  • Develop and define a wide-range of documentation, for example presentations, technical designs, functional specifications, system requirements, etc.
  • Communicate (and/or train as necessary) on documentation content
  • Investigate IT procedures, standards and/or guidelines (including AGCS as well as Group IT standards)
  • Conducts analysis on whether IT policies/standards are being followed, follow up and apply in cases where necessary
  • Proactively work and coordinate with relevant stakeholders (within IT, the business, strategic vendors / outsource partners, among others) to deliver consultancy and service


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in related field is required, preferably in IT or business administration
  • 2-3 years of IT professional experience (ideally in the financial services sector)
  • Experience of working internationally and of remotely communicating and developing regional teams across numerous locations
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment, ideally experience in working with SAFe Framework
  • Strong skills in development for Hana XSA 2.x (SQL, Node.js)
  • Expertise in performance tuning in the SAP Hana XSA Context
  • Expertise in Datawarehouse concept
  • Knowledge in SAP Hana XSA 2.x Administration
  • Knowledge in CI/CD tool chain ( Jenkins, Bitbucket, Tosca, Nexus or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills as well as basic facilitation skills
  • Strong international competence (including intercultural awareness)
  • Fluent English is required; any other language is beneficial
