Job Purpose/Role


At AGCS our Human Resources department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class support and counsel service to our managers.


Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR, you will be responsible for creating and deploying talent attraction strategies to attract and retain key talent into AGCS for the needs of today and tomorrow. You will partner with regional and global HR teams to further develop and enhance operational efficiency and service delivery across multiple business groups and markets to deliver consistent high-quality service to key stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving our D&I strategy and employee value proposition along the employee lifecycle together with key stakeholders in and outside the company.


Leading a team of experts across the globe, you will proactively integrate your knowledge of future trends and global perspectives in the development of strategies, processes and metrics to unify Talent Attraction, Employer Branding and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) practices worldwide and bring solutions to increase efficiencies across the globe.


Key Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition 

  • Strategically enhance the AGCS recruiting approach building a solid understanding of best-in-class global recruiting programs, future trends and based on state-of-the-art approaches 
  • Develop, manage, and implement effective global recruitment strategies and processes in partnership with senior leadership and HR, considering future needs and key talent segments 
  • Serve as an internal consultant to senior leadership (Board), proactively supporting staffing needs and developing strategic plans to address staffing goals; providing guidance to deliver high quality candidates and hires across the organization; conducting executive recruitment for senior roles 
  • Optimize Talent Acquisition expertise and leverage best practice models/processes, data and tools to enhance the experience of candidates and hiring managers together with the team (five direct reports and five matrix reports) 
  • Build global internal and external pipelines of potential candidates for key talent segments, leverage innovative sourcing approaches 
  • Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on talent attraction, employer branding and our employee value proposition (EVP)
  • Manage existing channels (e.g., LinkedIn, career page and job boards) maximizing effectiveness and keeping the content fresh, engaging and up to date. Continue to build and grow AGCS’s presence in relevant and innovative recruitment channels and markets 
  • Actively contribute to the Allianz Group HR Center of Expertise, developing a global network that sets the direction to maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends within the group


Diversity & Inclusion

  • Lead AGCS’s global Diversity & Inclusion strategy together with the business and work directly with a senior leadership team, deeply committed to becoming a more diverse and inclusive organization 
  • Partner with business leaders to define and execute a Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing approach that is aligned and integrated to the overall Talent Strategy; leverage AGCS’s Wellbeing offerings globally, working with leadership and supporting employees 
  • Drive leadership awareness, commitment and accountability for Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives that can meaningfully change behaviors and by this enhance AGCS’s overall culture 
  • Evaluate Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing strategy and progress through a data driven approach: utilize data to help inform priorities and measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives 
  • Collaborate with the Global Communications team to produce regular internal communications that promote AGCS Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing initiatives 
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships across the broader HR organization; keep up to date on Diversity & Inclusion programs and developments by exchanging with Allianz Group and other entities


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience


  • You have (ideally a Master’s) degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experienced Talent Acquisition executive with a strong track record – preferred in the insurance industry – both leading a globally distributed team and building strong, globally consistent and scalable processes, policies and D&I initiatives 
  • Has gained significant and proven experience in a highly international corporate environment with a complex structure and operations across the globe  
  • Proven track of introducing new methods, processes, KPI´s and skills across different locations, creating consistent structures and processes
  • Knows all relevant tools and instruments around talent acquisition, including modern digital recruitment, digital systems and processes, as well as familiarity with upcoming technologies in the field utilizing AI, big data, digital assessments, etc.
  • Proven experience in building organizational capability and expertise in recruiting top talent 
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with and influence leaders, coordinate with other cross-functional colleagues internally and build relationships with all levels in an organization 
  • Hands-on personality with proactive, innovative and problem-solving skills
  • At the same time strategic thinker, taking a comprehensive view and vision and setting frames and standards leading to better results by local execution 
  • Empathic and integrative leader motivating organizations to embrace change and pro-actively stir improvement
  • High communication and presentation skills 
  • Fluent English
